This page describes how to increase a row along the outside edge of a row. There are two places to increase a stitch using the right angle weave: within a row, and along the edge.

When increasing along the edge, you can increase at the beginning of a row, or at the end of a row. The increase is the same, regardless of the end, but the transition to the next stitch varies.

Increasing at the Beginning of a Row

1.	In the previous row, if your thread exits the top bead towards the edge of the row, add four beads to the thread and pass the thread back through the first bead you added. This will form the new stitch, which is now the first stitch of the row.
2.	You can continue the row normally, by adding two beads and begin weaving it.
3.	Alternately, if the thread exits the top bead of the previous row facing the row instead of the edge, you can create the first stitch and the new stitch at the same time. Add six beads to the thread. Skip three beads from the end and pass the needle through the fourth bead from the end of the thread (bead c in diagram). The needle should pass the same way through the bead as the previous pass.
4.	Pass the needle through the top bead of the last stitch of the previous row to anchor this new stitch to the row. Continue up through the first of the six beads you added in step 3. You can continue the row normally, by adding two beads and begin weaving it in the figure 8 pattern.

Increasing at the End of a Row

Look at the thread as it exits the outside horizontal bead on the last stitch before the increase. If the thread exits the bead towards the previous rows, add the increased stitch using steps 1 and 2 below. If the thread exits the beads away from the previous rows, add the increased stitch using steps 3 and 4 below.
1.	Add three beads for the last stitch, which is the new stitch, and pass the thread back through the outside horizontal bead of the previous stitch.
2.	Thread back through the three newly added beads, exiting the top vertical bead. Begin the next row as normal by adding three more beads and weaving as normal.
3.	If your thread exits the outside horizontal bead towards the previous rows, begin the increase stitch by adding three beads and passing the thread through the outside horizontal bead of the previous stitch.
4.	Continue passing the thread through the horizontal bead of the previous stitch, then through the first bead of the three newly added beads. Begin the next row as normal by adding three more beads and weaving as normal.
